About
I’ve wanted to make movies since I was a little kid.
I was raised on film and television since childhood. My sense of humor was crafted by The Simpsons, and yes, I am that person that can’t help but reference the show constantly. However, while my personality was formed from comedy, I did gain appreciations for different styles as well. For instance, I was permanently traumatized from the 1990 adaptation of Stephen King’s It when my dad showed it to me as a child. Calling a horror movie “suspenseful” doesn’t make it any less scary, Dad.
I got my first camera when I was 7. I was the kid who shot through my disposable film camera in about ten seconds, mainly resulting in 24 selfies and 12 blurry landscapes. During family trips, I would be taking pictures so often I would often endanger myself. I still recall taking photos in Paris with no regard for the cars in the middle of the active street. In spite of my childhood idiocy, my love of film and photography only continued to grow as my passion.
I aspire to become what inspired me.
After graduating from Boston University in May of 2021, I can finally say the dream has been realized. My love has only grown since childhood, and it will continue to do so into the future. The only things that have changed are my height and I shoot on slightly more advanced cameras nowadays.
As an Editor first and foremost, I recognize that strategic choices were made in the films that hooked me in as a child. All I want to do is continue the process; inspire new filmmakers for years to come.
